The Equality in Abortion Coverage Act (EACA) is proposed legislation that would have medicaid health coverage be used to cover for abortions, as well as through any Rhode Island State Employee offered health benefits. Healthcare is a human right and women’s reproductive health is healthcare. BLM RI PAC is proud to collaborate with The Womxn Project and many other activist groups around the state who support women’s reproductive rights. This bill has been in limbo in the state house for over three years and we demand our state legislators to pass this bill and protect all women across Rhode Island
